Colin Johnson, PhD
I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Idaho State University. My research is at the intersection of international migration and development, incorporating human security, political demography, and ethnic conflict. My empirical expertise is in post-communist Eurasia, including field experience in the Russian Federation, Kyrgyzstan, and Estonia. I received my PhD from Brown University in 2017, followed by teaching as a UCIS Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Center for Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies and the Department of Political Science at the University of Pittsburgh from 2017-2019.
